Everyone Wins at GlucoStories!

From May to October, Indy race car driver Charlie Kimball with type 1 diabetes and GlucoStories partners sponsored a share a story contest. We were amazed and inspired by everyone’s generosity—sharing stories, voting, judging, sponsoring and giving great feedback.
The grand prize winner of the first GlucoStories Share Your Story Contest! was Brian Harris for his story, Live Like You Were Dying. Brian and his son Joe flew from Iowa and attended Charlie Kimball’s “Firestone® Indy Lights” Championship race in October 2009. Other contest winners received great prizes including Charlie Kimball replica helmets.
We’d also like to give special recognition to our finalists and our amazing panel of judges.
