Share your story to support others and raise money for worthy diabetes organizations. For every story published, American Diabetes Wholesale will donate $3.00 to diabetes charities including local chapters of JDRF and American Diabetes Association, as well as other organizations including Diabetic Rockstar and Defeat Diabetes Foundation. From May to October, Indy race car driver Charlie Kimball with type 1 diabetes and GlucoStories partners sponsored a share a story contest. We were amazed and inspired by everyone’s generosity—sharing stories, voting, judging, sponsoring and giving great feedback.

The grand prize winner of the first GlucoStories Share Your Story Contest! was Brian Harris for his story, Live Like You Were Dying. Brian and his son flew from Iowa and attended Charlie Kimball’s “Firestone® Indy Lights” Championship race in October 2009.
